Our first pre-trip meeting is this Friday, 6:30-8:00 in Heber Springs. Exact location will be announced soon.
In the meantime we have some important business to take care of. Brad Johnson, BBQ connoisseur, has offered to prepare some delicious pork BBQ for us. So, we'll be having dinner at our meeting. We'll eat promptly at 6:30. I need everyone to pitch in with the fixins. Sooooo, please go here to let everyone know what you can bring. We are having BBQ nachos. We will need:
- 4 Bags of Tortilla Chips
- 1 Container of Sour Cream
- 2 Bags of Shredded Cheese
- 1 Pot of Velveeta Cheese Dip
- 1 Jar of Salsa
- 1 Bowl of Chopped Onions
- 1 Case of Bottled Water
Please go here to let everyone know what you can bring to this meeting.
Also, I need to know who exactly is coming. So let me know for sure that you are coming and who you are bringing with you. Thanks!!!
It is necessary for us to begin to plan/prepare for the work in Ecuador. Pre-planning will make us a stronger team and lead to a more productive week on the ground. I would like for everyone who can to get together in my home in a couple of weeks for about 1.5 hours one evening. Most of the team is located in the general vicinity in Heber Springs, but some are not. So, I completely understand if those that live a distance away cannot make it. We will record the meeting and pass it along to you.
First, we need to determine the best day. Please go here and mark ALL the days that are possibilities for you. The time will be 6:30pm-8:00pm. Once we determine the best day, we will move forward with more details.
Again, please go here and mark ALL days that work best for you.
If you have any questions, you may post them in the comments.
I am so thankful that the Lord has led you to be a part of the work in the jungles of Ecuador with ICP. We are excited and hopeful about what the Lord will do through you and in you. We have just a few short months to get as prepared as possible, so let's make the best use of our time.
Our mission is to spread the fame of Jesus through serving our neighbors, sharing the gospel, and discipling believers.
This page will be where we post news, updates, and important info about the trip, so please bookmark it and check back often.
