Sucumbíos province is located in the northeast corner of the Ecuadorian jungle. The population of the province is about 176,000. Sucumbíos touches both Peru and Colombia.
Sucumbíos was an unexplored area, where only indigenous people lived, until oil was discovered there in the late 60s. In 1979, after nine years of foundation, Nueva Loja became the provincial capital.
Several leaders from this area attended ICP training in Tambo, Ecuador. Thus began a the partnership in Sucumbíos. Our desire to is to train and disciple the local pastors in Sucumbíos in order to help foster healthy, gospel-centered, reproductive churches. See opportunities to go here.
